Show, Ch. Chayo Dom Perignon won Open Dog, Best Dog, Best of

At East of England
Championship Show Chayo Forget Me Not won Best Bitch Best of
Breed. Topaz was shortlisted in the Group.
At National Working &
Pastoral Breeds Championship Show, Ch. Chayo Dom Perignon
won Open Dog, Dog CC and Best of Breed. Louis then went on
to win Group 2.
At the 2008 World Dog Show in
Stockholm, in the company of the finest Malamutes Ch. Chayo Dom Perignon
prevailed in the strong Champion class and went on to win the Reserve CACIB
& REserve World Winner from an entry of 110.
June
2008:
At Boras National Show in
Sweden there was an entry of 3900 dogs. Breed judge was Mr
Whitney Coombs from USA. BOB and CAC was won by Ch. Chayo
Dom Perignon. BOS and CAC was won by his daughter Chayo
Better Than Chocolate. The Group Judge was Granaas Hansend
from Norway who gave Group 1 to Ch. Chayo Dom Perignon.
Louis finished the day winning Best in
Show under judge Elina Happaniemi from Finland.
At Blackpool Championship
Show, Reserve Best Dog and the Reserve CC was won by Ch. Chayo Dom Perignon. Best
Bitch was won by Chayo Better Than Chocolate.
At 3 Counties
Championship Show, Ch. Chayo Dom Perignon wins Open Dog and Best of Breed and then went on take Group 1. 1st & 2nd
in Junior Bitch were Chayo Better Than Chocolate and Chayo
Snowflake of Monikoona. Better Than Chocolate went on take
Reserve Best Bitch.
Chayo do the double
again... At the Irish KC International Show Best of Breed
and CACIB was won by Ch. Chayo Dom Perignon. Best Opposite
Sex and CACIB was won by Chayo Forget Me Not.
May 2008:
At Southern Counties
Championship Show, Chayo Better Than Chocolate won
Reserve Best Bitch from the Junior class.
At Bath Championship
Show Ch. Chayo Dom Perignon won Best Dog, Best of Breed
and then went on to take Group 2. His daughter, Chayo
Better Than Chocolate, won Junior Bitch and Best Bitch.
At SKC Ch. Show Ch.
Chayo Dom Perignon won his 6th CC with Best of Breed.
Louis then went on to win Group 1. Chayo Forget Me Not
won Reserve Bitch CC, Chayo Better Than Chocolate won
Junior Bitch and Chayo Aces High won Junior Dog. Chayo
Better Than Chocolate won the PetPlan Junior Stakes and
is now a Junior Stakes finalist for the competition in
October!

At Birmingham National,
Ch. Chayo Dom Perignon won his 5th CC with BOB. He then

Chandon was 3rd in Open Bitch.

Chayo Alabamma Slammer ShCm was 3rd in Open Dog owned by
Martin and Lynne Hall. At her first champ show 2nd Minor
Puppy Bitch was Chayo Chasing Dreams with Articmonkey
owned by Vicki Binns.
Chayo won the Breeder Stakes
overall and qualified for the finals at Crufts 2009.
Another first for Chayo as this will be the first time
that a Malamute kennel will be in the Breeders Stakes

Champion Malamute. At the Dublin Combined Canine
Association Club Show, Ch. Chayo Blue Thunder won his 4th
CACIB with Best of Breed and Group 2. Also at the Dublin
Combined Show Chayo Forget Me Not won the CACIB and Best
Opposite Sex. Thanks to Sam Dean of Abuklea Rottweilers for
handling Topaz.

2007:
What a way to finish the
year... the last show of the year, LKA Championship Show,
and Chayo takes the top honours. Ch. Chayo Dom Perignon and
Ch. Chayo Moet Chandon, 'do the double' winning the Best Dog
and Best Bitch. Chayo Better Than Chocolate wins Best Puppy
In Breed and Reserve Best Bitch. Ch. Chayo Dom Perignon then
went on to take Group 2 to finish the year as the Top
Winning Alaskan Malamute with the most Group placements won
by any Malamute this year.
November:
We took Ch. Blue Thunder
out to Belgium and Amsterdam this weekend and what a weekend
he had! In Belgium, Blue win his second CACIB with Best of
Breed and was shortlisted in the Group. Travelling on to the
Winners Show in Amsterdam, Blue repeated this win, taking
his 3rd CACIB with Best of Breed and again, being
shortlisted in the Group. This win also gave Blue a further
title and he is now Ch. Chayo Blue Thunder Winner 07!

2007:
Open a bottle of
bubbly because it's time to celebrate at Chayo. We are proud
to announce that Chayo Dom Perignon has become the latest
Chayo Champion!
There are only 3 Malamute
Champions in the UK and they are Ch. Chayo Blue Thunder
(Blue), his daughter Ch. Chayo Moet Chandon (Belle) and his
son Ch. Chayo Dom Perignon (Louis). Only 2 Malamute
Champions were crowned in 2007 and they were litter brother
and sister Ch. Moet Chandon and Ch. Chayo Dom Perignon, both
homebred and owner handled.
Ch. Chayo Dom Perignon
won his third and crowning CC from the Limit Dog class at
the AMCUK Championship Show under Top US Breed Specialist
judge, Nancy Russell of the famous Stormkloud kennel. Louis
finished Best Dog, Best Opposite Sex and Reserve Best in
Show. It was father and son dominating the dog line-up with
Louis' Sire, Ch. Chayo Blue Thunder winning Open Dog and the
Reserve Dog CC. Many thanks to Ruth Hill for jumping in last
minute in the Challenge and going on Blue and getting the
RDCC. Louis' daughter, Chayo Better Than
Chocolate, won 1st Puppy Bitch.

Championship Show, Ch. Chayo Blue Thunder won Open Dog, Best
Dog and Best of Breed.
The first AMCUK Championship Show was held at Newark with an entry of
224. Chayo Dom Perignon takes his first CC from a large
limit class and goes on to win Reserve Best In Show and Best
Opposite Sex. Chayo Forget Me Not takes her first RCC from a
large Open class where she placed 2nd.
Of the 14 CC's available this year the Chayo kennel has won
6 and 2 RCC.
3 CC's were won by Ch Chayo Blue Thunder. Blue is the first
and only British Champion Malamute. The other 3 CC's were
also won by Blue's progeny- Brother and sister Chayo Dom
Perignon (also a RCC) and Chayo Moet Chandon, Chayo Sapphire
Blue at Snowstruck (owned by Mrs Jane York) and an RCC won
by her litter sister Chayo Forget me not.
Chayo is
UK Top Malamute Kennel 2006 and Top Breeder 2006. Ch Chayo

Chayo In Your Eyes won AVNSC Working Reserve Best Bitch and
Best Puppy. This was Lily's first show! Chayo Midget Gem was
2nd to Chayo In Your Eyes in the Puppy class and Chayo
Sapphire Blue won 1st in Postgraduate.
At Working & Pastoral Breeds
of Wales Championship Show, Chayo Blue Thunder won his 32nd
Best of Breed and Group 3. Returning to the ring after a 10
month break, Chayo Forget Me Not won Best Bitch and Best
Opposite Sex with Reserve Best Bitch being won by Chayo
Sapphire Blue. Topaz was handled beautifully by Louise
Paterson. Youngest in his class, baby Domino (Achak
Domino) was placed 2nd.
At Newcastle (Staffs) and DCS, Judge Helen Burke gave Best of Breed to Chayo Dom
Perignon who then won Working Group 2. Best
Puppy In Breed was won by Chayo Lavender Lady who then went
on to win the puppy group.
